Why didn't someone tell me about Baking Soda & Hydrogen Peroxide sooner? I guess maybe I am just more receptive now. Who knows, but I just learned about this miracle cleaner LAST NIGHT! I read it on a blog somewhere. She did a cookie sheet, so that is where I started and I was way underwelmed. So I tried my drip pans from the stove. So glad I took before pics, because again I was unimpressed until I looked back at the original pics.
Then the kicker! I cannot use oven cleaners, because the fumes are not good for our bird, or us I am sure. I have a steamcleaner that I have used for years, but it stopped working. So, I emptied the box of baking soda from the freezer. Now, keep in mind my baking soda boxes go from cabinet to fridge to freezer so, this box was far from fresh. I added the hydrogen peroxide and waited. Over 3 hours I waited. But wow, did it ever pay off. I used an old bath towel to mop up the majority of the mess and then a wet dish towel to finish up. Easy! As you can see it isn't perfect, but I will take it. I just need to figure out how to get the walls. Hope you take this and run with it.

Baking soda is pretty amazing. I've used a baking soda/vinegar combo to clean the oven before.
